Immense & Immersive: Skyrim is the best addition to the Elder Scrolls saga to date.
=GOOD=
Story: wonderful high fantasy storyline
Quests: TONS of quests to discover and conquer at your own pace, including lengthy and immersive guild quest lines
Refined Combat: improved over previous ES titles
World: very large map with gorgeous and varied landscapes filled with over 300 primary locations and hundreds of minor locations
Visuals: solid visuals that give Skyrim a feel and tone that perfectly overlays the varied and contrasting scenic locations
Enemies: varied and much improved AI over previous ES titles
Customization: character creation, armors, weapons, magic, skills/perks... mix and match as you see fit
Post-launch additions: at the time of this review two DLCs are available (Dawnguard & Hearthfire) as well as having an extremely large modding community shelling out all types of cool, funny, technical, innovative mods every day since Skyrim's release
=BAD=
Bugs: there are still a few occasional bugs nearly 1 year after launch, but this is because there were a hell of a lot of bugs at launch. However, the bugs left now will not diminish the Skyrim experience at all. They are seldom and usually minor.
