A great idea for a game that just wasn't finished properly

The 2 Templar Knights around which the game is based, are on a quest to find what all other Templars are always looking for. Grail treasure. But there is a bit of a twist. The lead characters are marked to go to Hell by death. Through the game you get to shift in and out of the Demon realm, bringing you face to face with lost souls and even Death himself. Naturally there are others like you who can do the same and they are on the same quest for the relics which are meant to save you from going to Hell.

The game's graphics when you're not in hell mode actually looks pretty decent. Hell realm feels like it's over done with too much detail, which sometimes means things get lost between all the pixels.

The story line is something I've not personally seen before, so that's good. What however is really bad is the acting, and the long pauses between 2 lines of dialogue that have absolutely no purpose. Also the main character voice actors actually don't suit the character models at all.

The upgrade system is interesting too. First, you are able to pick up any weapon dropped by any enemy. You can combine the weapons, for example a Shield and Mace. Or Mace and Sword, or 2 swords. Basically there are quite a few combinations. You are able to then upgrade each one of these combinations separately. Adding new moves. It's interesting.

I wouldn't say it's a BAD game, but it's far from what I would call a good game too. Probably not something I would recommend to anyone. Not with the amount of good games currently available.
