Don't love it, but I don't hate it either. Graphics: 10 | Gameplay: 10 | The rest: eeh.. not so great.

So I've played the 7 day trial for 2 days now, tried a few classes and got bored. And here's why.

Graphics
First of all, stunning graphics! I got lost in just looking at the world they've created. Everything is so polished. Even the way your character looks is amazing.

Game mechanics
-Character creation
Having so many options to create a character is just wonderful.
Enough races to choose from and every class is available for every race. The models look amazing. They look like real heroes. Lots of looks to choose from. Eye sliders, lip sliders, chin size sliders.. With this type of freedom you can create your almost perfect character. That makes it perfect to me.

-Combat
When I got started playing, I instantly fell in love with the combat system. It's so fluid and it feels oh so good. Having a gaming mouse made it even better. Not having to select a target and having it work so well.. wow, just wow..

-Environment
Aside from the amazing combat system are things like the way your character reacts to the surroundings. It feel just right. Walking on stairs, stopping half way and noticing that one leg didn't correct itself and is still on the step bellow is just awesome. Little things like sitting anywhere and having both feet sticking to the ground just boost the quality of the game-play. It also makes for better pictures.

-Key bindings
One thing I hated was the fact that key bindings didn't change for all characters. If you rather use E instead of F to interact, you'll have to change it for every single character you create in the future. Even other bindings. Frustrating.

Questing
Ok, this is where it got really boring. For a game that is so innovative, you wouldn't expect questing like other MMO's. You basically feel like a simple errands boy. The quests feel dull and simple. Like having to slay a bunch of trees for one person and having to do the same thing for the other one that is standing like 5m beside the first. Oh, but this time you need something that drops off the tree and take it to the next camp. And after that you need to slay some more trees... Very creative.

-Starter zone
That aside, getting items that aren't for your level.
You're walking in the starter zone, picking up quests and some happen to be red. (Now why would you have quest that are not for your level in a starter zone) You finish them with ease and end up getting an item that you can't use yet. Interesting..

-Repetitive
I think that this is the reason why it's so boring.
The first few levels in the game involve killing the same type of monsters. Some look a little different, but fighting them feels the same as when you started.
You and up wondering when you get some real action.

Conclusion
If a game doesn't get interesting in the first few hours, I see no reason for going on. The reason why I would play it again, would be the game-play and the graphics. But what good is a Ferrari without a road to drive it on?
To me, this game feels like the start of something new. A demo for great games to come, but not great enough to keep playing.
Maybe I should play some more to see what's past the first island, but like I was saying, a first impression is very important and this game doesn't do that too well.
I wouldn't buy it. Just try it for free first.
