where's the slowmotion and freeze frame!?
I consider the learning curve to be rather long for a few reasons: one the game cheats, and two because of the reasonably lengthly combos that deal no damage.
The fighting is refreshing. you can counter both punches, kick, and now throws. Some of the throws are more realistic and your character won't suspend in the middle of the air from repeated jabs.
Anitmation is fluid and graceful like tradional martial arts are typically stylized. There are some spiritual super moves and if you have the difficulty up they won't deal much damage. I fun one to own but notting to build a union or cult around like what the DOA series has.
I would be very happy to see a sequel on the 360. Cutt out the cheating and add some more combos, and unlockables and you could have something special there.
Thats it.
