I don't think this game will appeal to every fighting game fan.

Yes, it does look good, really good actually, and the animation is awesome, very smooth. The gameplay is quite different, you have your basic 3 round system, but it's continuous, so it doesn't reset playtime somebody dies, that it's quite interesting since the fight will go for longer than other fighting games. I have to classify this game as unbalanced, since the same opponents will react and have a difficulty level different depending on what character you select. It took me forever to defeat the "Fatalist" with the "Iron Monk", and I mean, forever, but that was not the case with other characters.

I have to say that when I saw this game cover at the store I almost didn't purchase it, the cover art it's just pretty ugly for my taste, it looked like a cheap cash in title, but again, the game it's just beautiful to look, even for the old XBOX, this is a top notch system demo.

I don't think this game will appeal to every fighting game fan, it follows a different dynamic and I can see how it piss some people off. There are some good fighting mechanisms, like "Limb Damage" that makes your opponent a little less damaging but it doesn't really ad much strategy to the game. You have some special moves that you can use after filling your power meeter "Chi". Also using the walls an pillars are a great feature to the gameplay and the overall strategy. The characters and environments do suffer with damage, which is pretty impressive. I'll be playing this game for a while.
