Solid stealth-shooter, just buy and play it!
But this game proved me wrong.
I was VERY worried if PSP controls can handle a shooter game. I think developer did very good job, as I could not imagine better controls for it. There is even target lock, which helps, but not too much to spoil the fun of shooting enemies down.
But first things first. Good things in this game include:
-large number of weapons, which differ in stopping power, recoil and accuracy. There is possibility to change fire modes (full auto, three-round burst or semi auto, very good if you're low on ammo),
-Special sniper rifle, which can fire different types of darts (very useful, as 6mm rounds are not silenced),
-interesting campaign (with saving the world of course) with double-crossing, generic engineering, and some rare plants,
-Large number of challenges and bagdes (if you earn it, you get new weapon, or some kind of improvement to your arsenal),
-good mix of action and stealth. If you won't let enemies see you, things can be easier, as less foes stand between you and victory. If you want to simply kill everyone (givvve meeee thee stone!!! I'll killllll this m****!!!)-you can. And it's still fun,
-hiding behind covers, and pre-aiming helps in difficly situations (you can aim when behind cover, then you hit right trigger, and lead injection is sent to enemy),
-vision filters (IR googles, good for spotting enemies, NV googles and EDSU, for locating any electronics),
-good AI (enemies are hiding behind cover, they try to change position if you're hidden, they know that grenades do BANG)
Now, some bad things:
-storyline is too short,
-sometimes foes are stupid (they charge on you regardless the fact,that it;s impossible to miss from 1 meter),
-some weapons sound...weak.
Overall-it's best stealth shooter on PSP. Please, do a sequel! :)
