Contrary to Gamespot's opinion, I feel Syphon Filter 3 is the most original of the series. And most definetly the best.

A devoted fan of Syphon Filter, I own all in the series and have played them through many times. Although enjoyable and very good shooters, the originals seemed a little to hard & repetitive, Syphon Filter 3 changes that for the better. Of them all, Syphon Filter 3 just feels 'newer' and more developed. Becuase the campaign is so varied and lengthly, its replayability is enormous making a definite necessity for any fans of the action-shooter genre. From start to finish, Syphon Filter 3 delivers exciting battles and firefights, perfectly balanced with stealth & interesting objectives - As much as I enjoyed 1 and 2, Syphon Filter 3 simply feels better and more varied, fantastic.
