More of the same. Excellent!
The easiest and therefore the shortest Syphon Filter game, made for PlayStation 1, I suppose. But, the length isn’t the prime criteria of value.
Syphon Filter offers good amount of those game-play and story values, set by previous two SF games. In this aspect – SF3 truly is worth the bucks, and the repetitive game-play and level design – it’s just the way that SF is and it doesn’t make the sequels to be unworthy or even bad and avoidable, if we compare them to the first SF.
You can view Syphon Filter series in two ways:
1) The SF sequels are weird expansion packs of SF1, with some new weapons and story;
2) The sequels truly are the sequels – completely new and full worthy games – from A-Z.
I prefer the second option, because the new things are enough for me to call these sequels to be truly sequels.
So, SF3 offers to you a good – old SF story continuation with some new twists, some new weapons, new environments and maps.
I, as a SF series fan, recommend this game to any other SF series fan and even the fans of espionage, FPS and adventure genres!
