To tell you the truth I'm not a huge Mario fan. I remember when Mario was one of my favourites. When the Original Gameboy came out. Mario was a force to be reckoned with back in those days. Today countless mario games have been made, some worth remembering and others... Mario Sunshine is a completely different style of gaming to what I was usedto. My little italian friend had somehow gained afew new moves such as diving and doing all types of crazy verticle jumps. What sets Mario Sunshine aside from all other Marios (I believe), is FLUDD. Mario's backpack/companion for the game. For Mario has to defeat foes and overcome obstacles in ways previously unexplored. The way that water shoots out of FLUDD and water generally in the game looks amazing. Now that it comes to mind the presentation of Mario Sunshine is amazing. From the island inhabitants to the fruit, the graphics in the game are top notch. What gives me the "jitters" about Mario Sunshine is that many stages are the same area redone over and over. This is good at some times, but when Mr Flower comes back begging for Mario to whoop him once more it gets a little old. The cute scenery and somewhat predictable storyline makes the game similar, though FLUDD and other aspects of the game create a new realm of Mario. For all Mario lovers it should be picked up, and for anyone looking for a fun game that gives them that warm fuzzy feeling, this is for you.
