The next game since Super Mario 64, this one has a great look, new ideas, and great playability that makes it shine.
Well to start off, the story begins with mario landing in Isle del Phino. He goes there for vacation but gets accused of spreading graffiti around the entire island and is forced to clean it up (some vacation).
And so the adventure begins!
I'd say that this is a super mario 64 remake with better graphics and a different story but I love how it stays original in that way! Both games were great by the way. You run around the island going to many different levels in different parts of the island collecting shine sprites, a newer version of the stars. Each level has you completing various missions like collecting coins, beating bosses, exploring, etc. You go around with your new pal FLUDD, a high tech water pump you use to clean everything (I mean EVERYTHING) up. Eventually, you get more attachments and can ride yoshi and other cool stuff.
Like I said before, this game has some good graphics. Man the water looks awesome! The way the game incorporates mario's slick moves into the game makes for a pleasant ride throughout, and there is always plenty to do.
Overall, this is a really fun game! I've always liked mario, and it was no suprise that I liked this one. Anyone could pick up this game and start playing and having fun. I recommend it for all you gamers out there. Have fun!
