Insanely difficult, yet the real sequel to SMB.

User Rating: 8 | Super Mario Bros. 2 FDS
Graphics: They're the same yet slightly improved from the original Super Mario Bros. The ground is different, the clouds are a little more detailed and other various objects around the map. Nothing else really is different though.

Sound/Music: Yet again, the exact same as SMB yet not changed at all. There will be a lot of jumping in this game however, so expect to get annoyed by the jump sound effect over and over. @@

Difficulty: I spent a week on a single world on this game. Back in the late 80s when this game was made, Nintendo made it so that instead of starting from the beginning of the game, to give you a "Continue" choice which only made you have to start at the beginning of the world you were at. That's how difficult this sucker is.

Gameplay: It's your natural NES platformer, and if you have a NES, you've obviously played Super Mario Bros. It's practically the exact same; 4 levels in each world with Bowser at the end with the bridge switch. It is however about ten times harder and has several twists and turns in here. It's much more on-your-toes.

Controls: Very simple to get used to, the same as the original SMB yet again!

Overall: This is the actual Super Mario Bros. 2, the US version of it was actually a completely different game in Japan called Doki Doki Panic. At the start of the game, you have the choice between Mario and Luigi unlike the first SMB. It's much harder than SMB and will occupy at least 2-3 weeks of your time. Good luck is all I have to say on this one. Don't throw your controller. XD
