There is a reason why the Lost Levels are called Lost... this game is classic NES Mario, but with insane and ofttimes cursing-inducing difficulty. For people that thought they had mastered Mario Bros, guess again. Not only are power-ups very scarce, maybe two per level, if that; but coins are also rare, so good luck on getting a 1UP! There are also poison mushrooms to watch out for, and if you run out of lives, its game over to the beginning of the world, not the start of the level you died on. Anyone that enjoyed the game that started the platforming genre will enjoy this very difficult and ramped up version. Gameplay 10- One of the hardest games in exsistance. Aside from the difficulty, the gameplay is exactly the same as the regular Mario Bros Graphics 8- 8-bit visuals at their prime Sound 9- Standard Mario tunes, what else could you want? Replay Value 8- High- Despite the challenge, most likely you will come back to this game again and again. Fun Factor 7- Moderate- The challenge borderlines madness. You probably wont have fun if you are frustrated.
