It's worth buying a Game Boy Color just for this one game... even if you have it for the NES. Plus it has 32 new

This is the game to get for the Game Boy Color. Period. You get all original 32 levels of Goomba stomping, block busting and koopa troopa pounding. Wait... there's more. You can even redo them on something kind of like hard mode. After you beat the 32 original levels, you can play the same level but it can be played a little harder. (Basically all goombas and koopa troopas are all turned into those black creatures that can't be destroyed-only stomped and kicked moving left or right to the screen.) The 32 levels are built exactly like the NES, just compacted into a Game Boy Color screen. I want to point out that there's even 32 brand new, never before played levels available to play that makes the game feel refreshed and as challenging as you had first played it. The graphics are just like you would remember being in a cave, going underwater, in castles, and just on plain land. The warp pipes never get old. And there's never a dull moment in this game. The backgrounds are very clean and beautifully detailed along with every creature in the game. The music tracks are all famous, rememberable, and fun to listen to this day. There are 4 famous songs. (underwater, castle, land, and the underground) The sound effects are really top notch too. Even more than just levels and graphics and sound, the game features challenge mode, where on each of the 32 levels, you're expected to find 5 red coins, find a hidden yoshi egg, and rack up enough points on the level. You don't have to do all 3 at the same time. You'll spend plenty of hours on it, and rarely be frustrated. If you can't find some of the Yoshi eggs, there is a spot in the Toy Box column to help you locate them. Another thing is the Mario/Luigi vs. Boo race. There are 8 courses where you will need to beat Boo to the flag. He starts out white, but if you beat Boo by a long shot he'll turn colors at the end of each match. You have to use timing to and strategizing to beat Boo by a long length. Just like everything else, this highly addictive and very fun. Other things of this game include an album which keeps track of awards and some art gallery shots. This game allows you to hook up your link-cable and race each other to the finish. Super Mario Bros. Deluxe is compatible to a Game Boy Printer. Lastly, this game has it's own calendar to keep track of dates and certain events. Overall, this is, I think, THE GAME to get for the Game Boy Color. Adults, teens, and kids will find this game lengthy and addicting whether first time players or experienced players.
