Takes some time to get into it but is a solid and rounded rpg suitable for everyone

When i first picked this game up around a year ago at a clearance sale for a tenner i was dubious as to how good this game would be. I took it home that day and played for around an hour, immediately i was impressed by the graphics of the game and i really liked the original style of gameplay. For the first week i played this every night, then when i got stuck at a certain part i simply gave up and didnt play this game anymore. I hadnt touched this for ages until around a month ago when i thought id have another go. I played in more depth, tried to do as much as i could within the game, i tried to find all the sidequests, all the secrets. And im stil searching, the game has so many sidequests it adds so much more playing time to this game. Alot of people see this as a downfall but i think this just adds play time and extras for those willing to try and complete them.
Gameplay: 8
- With an original combat system and a solid style of playing this game should entertain hardcore rpgers and new players alike. It has a relatively short learning curve and plenty of sidequests. This can be played straight through in about 15-20 hours if you dont attempt sidequests, but for those wanting more it will probably take at least double that to complete it fully.
Graphics: 9
- Many people complain about the type of graphics included in the game, but they keep the game relatively simple, but detailed at the same time. They suit it well and i think theyre pretty good for a game that came out in 2001
Sound: 7
- Average i guess...not much to it.
Value: 10
- Id pay £30 for this game, but at a tenner... well it was definately worth it

Thankyou ^.^
