One of the best fighting game ever.
The story is simple - M. Bison set up another street fighter tournament and invited the best fighters to participate. There are 8 characters to be played in this game. Once you have defeated 7 characters ( exclusing yourself) 4 bosses could be fought. ( balrog, vega, sagat, and m.bison) There are 2 mini game you can play while you play through the 1 player mode. (Destroying the brick and car in a time limit) If you're playing 2 player mode with somebody, the game is a blast and extremely fun. The combos and moves are extremely easy to perform, except for zangief's spinning piledriver.( which could be hard to perform for some)
The graphics are incredible for a game this time (16 bit) and everything is detailed from the characters to the stage backgrounds. The sounds is also amazing, the music and effects are nicely done along with the voices.
The only downfall aobout this game is the lack of characters and moves. 8 characters and most of them only have 2 moves except ken and ryu. Thats why there's street fighter 2 turbo : hyper fighting, with improved graphics, gameplay and everything.
IMO, this game is the best fighting game ever. If you never played this game before, you've been missing out badly. It's an awesome experience and well worth it.
