Original or remake? Well it seems to be neither.

User Rating: 4.5 | Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting X360
I'll begin by saying it was a wonderful moment seeing the street fighter logo again. Back in the day, this release was very anticipated because of the ability to choose boss characters and the speed the game plays. Many will find the controls weak due to the poor Xbox D pad, It feels like I have never played street fighter II and I'm re-learning it. the good old jump that happens when you try a dragon punch is back. The Xbox D pad is just not good enough no matter how many times you play.

Another aspect of the game that remained unchanged is the weak AI. Although this time it's reinforced, the Patterns are different but still predictable

The sound is the original arcade sound and the quality is faithful to the original. It makes you want to just listen to the tunes and remember the good old high school days.

Graphically it's the same animation frames and smoothness as the original. the translation is very good on that part. The only downside is the lack of scanlines which makes you feel like playing a poorly emulated version.

Street Fighter started all fighting games and set an example to all new fighting games. It still is an amazing game to play and very few games come close to it even today. This version is a good translation but lacks a a few extras, no scanlines option, no sound test, fuzzy and blurry pixels and bad controls with the Xbox D pad. If you have an SNES close by with street fighter or that you're not a big fan, don't bother buying this game as it's not worth the money and you won't be getting any extra features.
