This game may be the best in the series yet!
This game is eveything the original arcade version was. All the same characters and their movesets remain, as well as all the secrets like Dan, Akuma and Bison. The control is translated extremely well as the PSone's 8 button controll scheme allowed me to set the buttons easier, and the sound translates flawlessly given the great soundtrack. The newest addition to the gameplay is the added super moves and the 3 level super meter system, only adding to the replay value by giving the characters different strengths for each. Ryu's Shinkuu Hadoken from SSFII Turbo is now his level 3 Shinkuu Hadoken, as level 1 is 3 hits, and level 2 is 4 hits. The new characters like Rose Sodom are really easy and fun to learn, Charlie has to replace Guile as my favorite character as he is sadly not in the game, but let us just have hope for the sequels. The stages are just great and really stand out. You won't regret having arguably the best fighting experience on the PSone you've ever had before.
