The best game in the Street FIghter series to date still retains the flaws of its predecesssors.

User Rating: 7.6 | Street Fighter Zero 3 PS
If you like the Street Fighter series, and can see past some of its more glaring flaws, then you might as well just pick this game up now. Don't get me wrong, this is the best SF game available. But, like very Street FIghter game, it has problems. The biggest problems are balance issues and cheap moves. Alpha 3 has some excellent gameplay, but it still has cheap, exploitable characters. For example: if you've played any previous SF game, you'll probably be aware of Zangief's unstoppable (yes, unblockable, unavoidable) throw. And hey, guess what? It's here too. So, this is the best SF game to date, and a prime example of the best moments of the series. The problem with that is it makes all the flaws more obvious. It almost highlights the problems that have gone unnoticed throughout the series, and that have made it absolete in the world of 2D fighting.
