Seriously awesome

I've never really had any desire to play a MMO or MMORPG due to one reason. It has to have a good single player story.

So a friend of mine told me about SWTOR (although i knew about it before hand) he basically said the magic words. Single player story and wow did it deliver (funny thing is he is not into the game as i am). I am now a subscriber and have 7 characters out of 12 that you can have.

Graphically the game is really good looking, not Crysis or BF4 style but more like a toned down version of Bioshock Infinite or a lot like Dishonered. Audio is great with with a nice score and really convincing ambient / blaster/ saber sounds.

I really like the community or players who most times seems eager to help out and other times a bit hard to find someone to help you with a co op mission or heroic, but you will always get someone to help.

The game play is fairly easy up to lvl 30 then it starts to get more difficult and you have to think about getting the right gear and correct techniques to attack the enemy npc's. It has a good pvp part to it also, whether it's fighting with your space ship or with your character. Personally pvp is not my bag.

Overall it's the RPG part that interest me and there is plenty of that to be had. I think going f2p was a good decision, because of this was also the biggest reason for me to download the hefty 25GB game and actually ending up subscribing.

If you have played a lot of other MMO's then I very much doubt that this will be anything new and probably not too exciting for you, but if you are like me and it's a first then for sure it will rock.

Of course it does not hurt that it's set in the Star Wars universe which I grew up watching as a kid.
