Altough a short campaign the force unleashed has something about it making it very replayable as well as lots of extras

+ Loads of replay value
+ Good variety of force powers and skills to use

Negatives
- Some sloppy textures in areas

Welcome to my review for the force unleashed on PSP, I played the game for seven of eight hours over the weekend and finished it, the game is to short.

The story is a bit over rated but a good idea never the less, you play as Darth Vaders secret apprentice but end up becoming a rebel.

Gameplay it self is fun and you can move just about anything as well as blow up anything, the camera angle is dodgy and occasionally gets in your way.
Your main way to attack and defend is by using the force, there are over twenty force moves to use including lightning, force choke and force push.
There is also an element of customisation, as you progress you unlock new costumes and lightsaber colors/add-ons.

Graphics are average for a 3d game engine, cut scenes aren't that much better with some characters mouths failing to move when they speak and backgrounds often stretched and pixelated unfortunately.
i reccomend checking out the videos and images, the force unleashed graphics are much smoother on the 360 and PS3.

Music is average.. not much to say about it really, voice overs are pretty good, no cringy lines like in Lethal alliance.

As well as the main story mode which lasts about seven or eight hours there are a few extras including online multi-player, force duel mode, were you fight all the jedi consecutively and unlock rewards at the end.
There's also historic battle mode, were you play as another Jedi in a classic event in the films, for example, you can play as Luke Skywalker against the sarlac and Jabbas henchmen or battle as Darth Vader in the carbon freezing chamber were he reveals he is lukes father..

I reccomend this game for the PSP because of it's low price, you maybe dissapointed by the short story mode but there are loads of extras to play about with.
if you have a 360 or PS3 i would recommend the force unleashed for them, the graphics are much smoother and camera angle much better, but never the less, great game for the PSP.
