After all this time, the game still holds up. Fans of the Star Wars Universe will eat this up, while non fans can still delight in the tight controls, great graphics and varied missions. Graphics are still some of the best that the console offers (bump mapping! Thank you!) And who can hate Star Wars orchestral music? Levels reach to many different planets of Star Wars fame, and those that don't are usually based in open (ish) space. There are limits to where you can go though, as you can't just fly away from the battle and out into nothingness. There are enough different ships to unlock that everyone will find one they like, whether they're aiming for speed, armor, firepower or a combination of those. Challenge is not an issue until you start trying to unlock all the bonus missions by earning medals in the normal missions. You have to complete them nearly perfectly to earn a gold medal and you'll need almost all golds to get all the bonus missions. However, sticking with it pays off and unlocks some great missions. No multiplayer is a bit of a let down but the single player game alone still garners high scores. A no-brainer for it's reduced price.
