I pre-ordered this game way back in the day from Interplay. The game arrived six days after the game was already on the shelf and the bonus disk was missing. Later they sold a special addition of the game with the bonus disk so pre-ordering the game was a huge waste of money.

I hated this game hands down. It was so overly combersome and lacked any intuativeness which just made the game awful to play.

When a bird of prey can take down a constitution class ship because you cannot get the darn controls to respond, well then something is broken.

This game was a horrible waste of money, but it did start the ball rolling on a couple of better games so its not all bad.
