The graphics were brilliant and very colorful. I can't think of any other way to describe them. The cut-scenes were absolutely wonderful and entrancing, though there were only a few of them. Not only did the graphics attract me, but the voices and music got me as well. I was exhilarated by the fact that I didn't have to read the dialogue all of the time. The music was excellent, perhaps the best since Final Fantasy VII. As far as the story is concerned, it was original, captivating, and kept me playing for hours at a time. I couldn't put my controller down! The characters were well developed and their personalities were greatly emphasized. Being a big fan of the real-time battle system, I a thoroughly enjoyed the battles. They were fun partly because the battles were not random, so I didn't have to worry about bein' jumped by a monster every five seconds. The battle skills and "symbology" were also great features. Hopefully, this game will set a precedent for some next-generation RPGs.
