Good: Characters, Story, Environments Bad: Lymle...

User Rating: 10 | Star Ocean: The Last Hope X360
The game is great as far as RPG's go, because the characters are very complex once you've played the game enough, and you can actually control each characters reactions toward you based on your responses to things that they, or other people, say. Also, the environments are absolutely gorgeous, some worlds you can see endless ocean and others are mountains, or deserts but all of them are very enjoyable to look at. There are multiple races that group with you, from the Elf-like Eldarians, to the Cat People of Roak. There are even super-techno people that have actually created an artificial planet called En II (ee-en 2). The basic story though is really cool as well, Earth was destroyed from over-nuking due to a fictional World War III and all of the major nations of the world agree to cease fire and form a group called the Space Recon. Force, or SRF, that goes out to find any habitable planets to move the remaining humans to before it's too late. As it turns out there is another race out in the Star Ocean called the Eldarians, whose home world is in danger because their sun is a Red Giant and threatening to go Super Nova so they agree to help Earth in their search. On the way to Aeos, the first planet that shows potential, an anomaly causes the ship Edge (the main character) and Reimi (main love interest) and the rest of their flight crew is on to fall out of warp and crash land...
Now go play the game to find out what happens from there, it's worth every penny, and if you're still skeptical get it used but I guarantee as long as you like RPG's and trust Square Enix I think you'll like it, and don't worry, IT DOES NOT DO THE SAME THING 'TIL THE END OF TIME DID!!!
