If you don't like japanese voices don't buy this game because you WILL want to switch.

First I'd like to confirm what everybody is saying, the english voice acting is horrible. I started the game without changing the language and just the first line the character said I was like : HOLY CRAP ! what is that ! ? then I turned off my PS3 and started over but i changed the voices that time. It was so much better.

Star Ocean 4 is pretty much like Star Ocean 3 you're gonna see some similarities but what made SO3 great is in SO4. The menus are almost the same. The battle system is a little bit different, they added a way to attack your enemies from behind and pull off more combos. Graphics are beautiful. I just don't really like the doll-like look of the characters. Some of them seam like they have no emotions but its no big deal. Theres not much more to say about it. If you liked the other star ocean you're gonna like this one.

Star Ocean 4 is a long RPG that is worth your money and your time. Unlike the 360 version, this one doesn't have all the slowdowns and the bugs the previous version had.
