When I first played SSX on Tour, I was quite confused, I must admit. Having never played SSX3 or any SSX game before it, I thought the game was going to be like all of those little sketchpad drawings. But after a few months of playing this game, I see that this game means business. The only flaw I see in the game is the fact that it is almost impossible for the average gamer to beat the game, but this could be a good thing because this trait adds loads of replay value. The game lets you choose between boarding and skiing, and in the GCN version, you can 'shred' as Mario, Luigi, or Peach, but only in freeride, sort of like NBA Street V3. The game also has great music. A notable aspect of the game is the Monster Trick system. If you build your boost enough, you can peform Monster Tricks, which look really cool, especially the unlocked ones. The Merqury City board will soon be legendary to you if you purchase this game. It takes a little getting used to, but if you like snowboarding, then SSX on Tour is the right game for you.
