among the best PS games ever! probably the best!

an evil sorceress is kidnapping all of the dragon eggs. spyro is chosen to explore the forgotten worlds to find them all. it is a very simple plot, but if you play this game, you will be addicted. there is so much variety in the game. there are many levels, all in which are very different from one another with seemingly hundreds of different enemies. eggs and gems are the items you want to collect throughout spyro's adventure. of course, there is moneybags who likes to take large amounts of money from you, but if you manage to finish the game, you'll get your revenge (and your money back). eggs are actually more important to the game than gems, but after defeating the sorceress, you will be on a quest to obtain every egg AND gem in the game. once you do, a bonus level opens up, and it is just as entertaining as the rest of the game. another thing that keeps this game alive is that spyro isn't the only playable character. you can also play as sheila the kangaroo, sgt bird, bentley the yeti, agent 9 the monkey, and even sparx! each character has different abilities from the others, and has their own levels filled with eggs and gems. my suggestion for anyone who owns a playstation: GET THIS GAME!
