Spyro returns for Year of the Dragon but this time he is not alone.
The game controls the same way like Ripto's Rage with a great camera. Spyro can swim, jump, glide for sometime, charge like a bull, etc. He also has some friends this time with him like Sheila the Kngaroo who can attack with her over-sized feet. Sgt. Penguin who can blast rockets out from his shoulder sized rockets and can fly unlimitedly.
There are 30 worlds and there are collectibles in each level. You can get gems, dragon eggs, fairies, and some power-ups. There are mini-games and the bosses too are quite good. The difficulty is not that hard but are fun to play. The platforming sections will make you to glide and sometimes you will get to fly.
The story is about the year of the dragons and that all the dragon eggs were stolen. Spyro has to get them back with his dragonfly friend Sparx. The game has some nice music, great voice-acting with voices from Michael Bell, etc.
The game is a great platformer and is very good fo children and also for adults. This is one of my best 3D Platformers ever.
