A great platformer for anyone who owns a Playstation, Playstation 2, or wants a good classic download on the PS3.

User Rating: 8.5 | Spyro: Year of the Dragon (Platinum) PS
This is the 3rd and final Spyro game made by Insominiac on the Playstation. Anyone who ever played anything after this knows that it is also the last great Spyro game.

Gameplay, 9. The game is a platformer as you probably know already. You go into a level and you have to find the dragon eggs that were stolen. You have to go through most of the levels at least once to get the character there's help to move you on the the next hub world. You also need a certain amount of dragon eggs to move you on too.
The game just plays great. There are no problems to speak of. Most of the levels are pretty gun with the exception of a few. The controls work all right too. One of my favorite things to do is to go to the skate board parts of the game. Those are just plain fun.

Graphics, 8. The game looks great. All of the worlds have vibrant colors in them along with all of the characters.

Sound, 8. The sound is pretty good. The music fits most of the worlds pretty good and there isn't really anything bad about them. The voice acting is very good. The characters are in sync with their voices and they used some pretty good voice actors.

Value, 9. This game is pretty long. There are dozens of worlds to go to and also eggs to find in the hub worlds too. By the end of the game you will have to find all the eggs and all of the gems.

Difficulty, Just Right. The difficulty curves fairly well. The first levels are easy, things start to get harder in the 2nd hub world, then even harder in the 3rd hub world, and then just get ridiculously hard in the last hub world.

Tilt, 8. I liked the game a lot. It's always fun to go through over and over again.
