Spiderman Shattered Dimensions: More realitites... More fun!!

Spiderman shattered dimensions PC version is a game mostly addressed to the webslinger fans. Explaining: The game itself is great fun. It has amazing graphics and environments (where amazing comes with a need for a great machine to play it). Control is great. Everything gets going with 4 buttons and you never need more than 2 to get the most formidable combo move. Every one of the four dimensions is beautifully constructed. My favourite is the Noir dimension. It may not have that much of chaotic-full-adrenaline-smashing-the-mouse-buttons situations but it's just wonderful. And much more challenging since spiderman noir is not as strong as in the other dimensions, which definitely make up-close combat a last option. Now why it's mostly addressed to spiderman fans? First of all if you're not familiar with the original story you lose the plot. That's of course an issue in every comic character based game. But even if you get into the plot, still you won't find any interest in many add-ons of the game. For instance. Loading times (little bit longer than usual in this kind of games but totally justified when the environment comes to your eyes) have little stories about the comic series which may not interest everyone. And of course the whole unlocks story is a variable that may leave most players uninterested. Spiderman figurines and costumes from the comic story won't get the usual player running.
Technically the game runs smoothly (at least it would if it wasn't for my crappy processor). I didn't have any troubles with bugs or anything. I always had the feeling everything was pretty stable and movements where very physical (that's comic way physical of course).
Now for the bad things... Well guess it's a bit short. Took me around 3 days to finish. And it lasted that long cause my machine didn't fully support it and was mostly frozen. :)
The only real disappointment though comes at the boss fights. Everything comes to one challenge. Find the pattern. Then repeat it a couple of times. And boss is gone. Could use a bit more imagination there. Pity cause the rest of the game is full of it.
Anyway final opinion the game rocks. It's beautifully made, has a great storyline, wonderful moves and combos, gets the player easily into the story. I played it and i really enjoyed it. Overall score? I'd give it a 9.
