It's a great game for kids and big Spider-Man fans, but little offer to other types of gamers.
After about 5 hours of total game time, we are about about 1/2 way through so it might be a better rental. I bought it since I'm sure I'll be playing it over and over.
The combat is very simple. Square attacks, circle grabs for throws, X jumps and triangle is for switching characters in single player mode.
Circle works great for Spidey, but basically you'll be using the square button over and over. There's really not much in the way of combos either. Like I said, if you're looking for a simple brawler AND your a Spider-Man fan it is a definite rental. If your looking for a great game for a kid, especially one that's a Spider-Man fan, this is perfect. Other than that . . . probably look elsewhere.
