It may not be "Goldeneye N64", but there is something good to be found in this colorful and fast racer.

Graphics: First thing to mention is the sense of speed, this is only game on the DS I've seen capture a lot of speed, which the max speed is 400 MPH as advertised on the back cover. The graphics are really good and they always run smoothly with the somewhat colorful visuals, but they really appear well when racing in the Grand Prix.

Gameplay: Now this most of where the bread and butter comes from, you basically have Four Modes: The Cup Races, Stunts Events, Battle Events, and Time Attack. All are not available right away, in an attempt for you to play the game and unlock many things. How you unlock anything is through getting more fans, where you do crazy tricks, tackle the competition, and winning the races.
Most of the fun comes from the hard mode difficulty because the other racers want to fight for the first place position just like you and it's very heavy on rubber-banding, so keep on your toes. The other lower modes are pretty easy, but they still rubber-band. The three difficulties are Amateur, Pro Am, and Pro be aware of the fact that you have to beat the Pro or Pro Am modes to unlock Pro.
Now the actual racing starts at you in the beginning trying to time your engine so you could jet off the quickest without blowing your engine. Now when you race, some of the other drivers will attempt to knock yo out, but unfortunately it is pretty easy since they mostly do it through a small mini-game called "Car-Fu" where you use your car as a weapon flipping it to smash on top of the opponents. It is a bit cheap since you could spam it whenever it's available and it always is.

Sound: There isn't much, there is the crashing sounds, the engine sounds, and the music. You won't hear much over the sounds from the engines, but with a little tweaking of the sounds, you'll actually find a small amount of different songs although you'll forget them a bit easily.

Replay: There really isn't much to do, all there is just unlock all the racers, their vehicle paints, and the modes. It may sound like a lot, but you'll unlock most of it through the WRL. The rest is multi-player, sadly I don't know anyone else who actually thought about getting the title.

Overall the game is great, but don't expect much of a package, you'll either have to find some friends to buy the game or have to be okay with unlocking everything single little thing. I do suggest the former and I do hope whoever reads this will be actually give this game a try.

P.S. This is my first review so don't be too critical of me.
