Sonic 4 - Worth your hard earned?
I personally enjoyed it. It luks stunning. It should have been done years ago, but this game falls just short of greatness because its just too short. The level designs are snatched from a variety of sonic 1 and 2 and the boss battles have been seen before. For example the new splash hill zone (act 1) is how you'd expect a sonic game to start. lots of green and water. The jumping fish are there, the red crabs are there, the shooting wasps are there along with a new type of enemy thats just as easy to take down. it looks exactly the same as sonic 1 but in HD.
I carnt help but feeling a little robbed. i have played sonic 1,2 and 3 till me fingures have bled so i was looking forward to something a little original. This aside however its a great little game. fast and fun gameplay, great graphics and with the edition of the new move (homing attach) and playable super sonic when you have collected all emeralds its a great little package. i do hope however that they advance the formula a bit more but as far as sonic games go this is the best one since sonic 3. Sega we want more of this and less of the 3D stuff!!!!
