EA is going in the wrong direction...

I can only say what I said about the Fight Night Round 3, that, graphics isn't everything, you should focus on gameplay.

This is pure arcade hockey, not even close to realistic hockey.
Games that end 14-10, 11-8? Yeah, very realistic indeed...

EA has put most of their effort into the graphics, and it shows pretty well..
Players look real, behave real, but they move like golems with hockey sticks on ice.
This is the main reason why 2K makes better hockey games..

Sounds on ice and the music gets a high rank, no doubt. And the colour commentary is ok, not bad.

The graphics as I said, are pretty good in NHL 2006, I admit. I wont deny it.
But, when it comes to the painful gameplay....
- I get creepy chills down my spine, thinking about the horrible controls..

And don't let me get started with the poor goalie AI...
I don't think that Turco or Brodeur lets in about 7-15 goals a game in real life, do you?...

Before I wasted my hard earned money on this catastrophy, I thought, "maybe EA has learned their lesson and gone back to basics.."

Hell no..

- You get 3 strikes, and EA has burned 2 already,
lets see if they are smart enough to realize, that arcade hockey doesn't belong in the gaming world...

Stunning display with poor content, that pretty much sums up this.....game.
