It's what you expect out of a Sonic game, on the Wii that is. Sonic and The Black Knight is worth playing, for a while.

User Rating: 7 | Sonic and the Black Knight WII
SONIC, SONIC, SONIC. From 2-d to 3-d, it seems that i'll never get tired of his games. To Sonic The Hedgehog to Sonic Unleashed. Sonic starred in some of the most best and flat out bob-ombs ever made. But it seems that one game seems to just stand out like both a Good yet flawed experience, that, my noble friend, is Sonic and The Black Knight

PROS: Excellent Visuals (for the Wii) The Music is fun to listen too (thanks to Crush 40's return) More characters will be unlocked on the way, Voice Acting isn't toooo bad.

CONS: Controls can be hard to use, (thanks to some overcomplication) Combat gets frustrating, a Sword?

Yeah, we all know what us Sonic fans were thinking "Sonic, with a SWORD?" Well, why not.
We had hedgehogs with guns. (Shadow the Hedgehog)
We had hedgehog that turns into a beast & beats the s*** out of enemies (Sonic Unleashed)
So how about hedgehogs with swords. Hmm... Sonic Calibur, anyone? ;)

The Visuals are nice, well, for a wii game.

Plot of this game is A wizard named Merlina, granddaughter of the original Merlin, summons Sonic to help free the mystical realm of King Arthur, who has been possessed by an unknown evil that comes from Excalibur's scabbard, and is now ruling the realm as the tyrannical Black Knight. Sonic's speed alone will not end The Black Knight's reign, so he must take up the talking sword, Caliburn, in order to break Arthur's curse and save the kingdom. THATS RIGHT, Sonic has enter Medievil Times, wow! Would that be cool if Mario did that? Oh wait...no...

The Gameplay, how can i put this? ... The Gameplay is alot like a cross up of Sonic and The Secret Rings, and Sonic Unleashed. If that makes any sense.

Of course, The voice-acting in every Sonic game is allways criticized out the @$$, but Black Knight's voice acting isn't that half bad, i mean, it wasn't great or anything, but it wasn't horrible. And that's actually the bottom line for Sonic and The Black Knight. It's what you expect out of a Sonic game, on the Wii that is. Sonic and The Black Knight is worth playing, for a while. Just Buy it for a low price, or rent it. Your choice. My opinion.
