This is the best kart racer of all time

This game triumphantly tops every other kart racer in history. The tracks are intricate, the races are intense, and the game looks great. There are a ton of characters to unlock, including Shadow the Hedgehog, Nights, and Danica Patrick. The initial wave of nostalgia that emerges when the game powers up makes for a great start. Seeing all your favorite sega characters in one place is always welcome, no matter what the setting. Transformed does a great job of seamlessly incorporating boating, plane racing, and car racing into each course. Drifting, boosting, and blowing up other competitors has never felt so fun. Without getting too much into comparison, this game is better than the first in every regard. There's more content, more tracks, and more characters. It's a real treat to be able to play local multiplayer anywhere in the game, even in matchmaking. This game offers a refreshing challenge but being able to toggle the difficulty can make it accessible to anyone, especially kids. I just wish they didn't leave out the Bonanza Bros. and Billy Hatcher, both of which were my favorite characters in the previous entry. Also, the flying sections can be fun but ultimately aren't as exhilarating as the car and boat sections. Get this game!
