best 3 dimensional sonic game to date

I got this game with my game cube in like 2002 I think and played it like crazy the. Multiplayer was just so fun I didn't even realize the single player and chao until maybe 4 months after I got it it was actually one of my first games I ever played on a console. I recently picked it back and realized a few things...

first off this is the last good 3d sonic game I have played having played heros, unleashed, shadow, and a bit of secret rings and black knight and think this is the most fun of them(and makes the most sense). The shadow and sonic levels are fun and fast most of the time, tails and eggman are ok but aiming is a bit off an annoyance more then a fun change of pace, knuckles and rouge levels are ok as far as gameplay but map design for them is original and huge on scale. Camera is as better then most recent sonic games but the camera is still bad. The graphics are decent for early GC games but still not the best. Voice acting is surprise not terrible but not even mediocre.

At this point you would think ilrd why did you give this an 8.5 if you are saying every thing is mediocre well I am about to tell you. some thing about this game is just fun. Running fast, destroying robots, finding emeralds.The music is cheese rock but is memoral like crazy. chao garden is huge but takes a while for anything to happen if you have the patience for it you will feel rewarded. I hadn't played this for like 4 years jumped back in and still knew the controls like it was yesterday.

This game is just something you remeber
