Gameplay: 10
You can't get faster than this except maybe on Sonic Rush. Well to start with you can tag up with a cpu character and dash through levels. To begin with you start of with Sonic and Tails(or the other way round) but if you do act 3 of zones 2,4 and 6 with Sonic and Tails(in that order) you see a cut-scene and unlock the other characters. Don't forget about the vast 2-4p mode and in one 2-4p mode you only need one game to use on 4 GBA's.
Graphics: 9
They are excellent. The zones acts are incredibly detailed, take zone 6(cyber track) any act for example, it shows details in the background and the foreground. The 3d levels enhance the game even more with proper 3d graphics for a 2d game.
Sound: 9
The sound effect's are like those of a more powerful console. You can hear skidding, speed, rings, music, sounds when collecting stuff, voice acting, explosions, moving to different options, going to acts, zones, or bosses and much more. You can hear most of these sounds in sound test, which you unlock by completing zones 1-7 and final zone.
Value: 10
There is lots in this game for a low price now. Probably ranging from £12.99 to £19.99(new) or £7.99 to 17.99(pre owned).

I love this game, it's an instant classic. There's so much to do. First to complete zones 1-7 then final zone. After that, finding the chao, then getting keys for the special stage. Then doing the special stage for the emeralds and doing extra zone. Then doing 2 types of time attack, then doing multiplayer and the playing again and again with different characters.
Get this game if you don't have it.
