Very very very disappointed

I have to say I was very disappointed with this game. This is the type of genre I normally love. This game however lacked personality in every way. The way the game is presented feels like a recruitment drive. How you control your character is very basic for this type of game. You can’t take cover and interact with the scenery in any way. The graphics are ok, but let down drastically because the developers chose to leave out the little touches. An example being when you shoot someone there is no blood what so ever, sometimes it’s hard to tell if you have made a hit. I read somewhere that blood was removed so the developers could get a teen rating rather than mature. However, it seems like a real cop out to me, this just seems like an excuse not to bother have blood splatter realistically on walls, or the textures to change on the enemy once shot. Very lazy. The scenery has no decal damage at all. Wooden boxes are seemingly made of solid steal. The guns don’t feel like guns at all, when I first started playing I couldn’t tell if I was even shooting or not, they could have made the camera shake a bit, or made the sounds better. The music is really rubbish, it seems like it is trying to copy the Rainbow Six games, in this game however, it just feels really cheesy. The backgrounds are extremely simple and boring. The story is rubbish, this game lacks everything. It has no edge. It feels lifeless, even the voice acting is boring. I honestly can’t understand why so many people like this game. I love shooting games, I love tactical shooting games even more. This game however, I do not love, this game makes me feel sick. I found the game very disappointing to the point it was very hard to play. Single player is pointless. The missions are rubbish. The gameplay in single player is what you would expect from a game nearly 10 years ago. This game is almost as bad as Shellshock was. All it needed was some nice little touches and it could have been good. I would sing its praises. The whole game is very unrealistic and uninspiring.
