All i can say is, the first one was a killer, i didnt really play for the campgine mode, but it was fun, umm i like how you get one allie in the first one(ps2 version you get 3), this new socom you get 2 allies. anyways i play it for the online. umm they fixed a lot of the bugs from number 1 to number 2, thats a big one. the maps are bigger more room to run around, more room to sniper, more tactical team efforts. music is just as good, if not better, graphics are at least 80x (times) better than the first.(not that graphics bother me much).What else, defintely more options, new styles of game play, the new game modes are fun(thats where the tactical team effort comes into play, and people or none yet, have hacked) more costumes for the teams, seals with like 5 ...(1 chick included) terriosts(mercinaiers called now) with like 7 or 8 (one chick as well). New guns, new maps, and same old maps, just better detailed. Anyways if your still wondering should i bother paying for it, my answer is yes. umm it was just as good as the first one, if not a lot better, i know ign rated the first one better, but they do that with almost every game, that has a sequel comin out for it. anyways i love it, but thats my own personally preference, i loved the first one to, anyways id say this one is a little better, because camgaine is harder funner, and online has more teamming up and tactial take overs.
