A blast on wheels.

It was a long time since I played this game, I don't even own this game anymore. Something I regret from time to time.

I don't really remember why I bought this game back then, I had'nt played the first part. But I think I was looking for any kind of driving game. And fortune made me pick this one. Its a good game with allot of driving and crashing fun.

The Driving Physics are somewhat spunshy, not so realistic, but fun. The game is also very hard to beat, anyway later in to the game, in the later missions. The physics feels and looks like a PS-One game, I think was called V-rally. In other words rather exaggerated, (it actually looks almost identical to Motorstorm on PS3) and its fun.

The game also has a rather enjoyable multi-player part, like "pass the bomb" or "capture the flag" ... or "deliver the package".

The graphics are nice, but not top best. The levels you drive around in are huge and are nice to explore, or just to try out your driving skills in. :)

Another interesting thing with this game, is its story, or rather how the story is presented. Its actually done with real-live actors FMV's ... thats rather unusual today ... some years after the FMV-hype died out in the gaming industry, in favour for pre-rendered or real-time CGi ... but it fits the "ruggedness" of the game ... Smugglers ye know :)

Final
This is not a simulator, nor is it a gun-packed "blast the heck out of all other cars", and its neither a race-the-track game. Its ... The Smuggler's run.
In overall a nice action driving game, that keep you playing just cause the difficulty level is higher then the average driving game, and it feels good to handle the vehicles.

So ... if you hav'nt played it before, and just want to play a crazy driving game, without having to kill allot of persons, then you should rent it or look in the bargain bin at least :)
