My 112th review after Killzone 3.
When I bought this game at Best Buy, it was preowned so I had to check the disc how it is and it's fine after I play through it and it really is a great sequel to the Sly trilogy. This time, Sly Cooper, Bentley, and Murray must defeat the Klaww gang. This has same characters from the first like Carmelita Fox and new ones like Constable Neyla, Contessa, and more. This game truly gets an A++! Here the results:
Voice-acting 10/10: Excellent in every way!
Gameplay 10/10: A great sequel means more jobs, more fun so each chapter consists of small hub-worlds where you have to do some of the jobs and not only Sly, but even Bentley and Murray are playable too. Also unlike the first game, this game has a health bar and infinite lives. Additionally, you can even sell items to buy new moves for Sly, Bentley, and Murray on ThiefNet.
Graphics 10/10: While they are dark and cool like the first, they may also make the game difficult for you to see anything.
Controls 9/10: While the controls are precised, you get knocked back every time you get hit, which is even worse when you're climbing.
Sound/Music 9/10: Same as the previous Sly Cooper game.
Lasting Appeal 10/10: Sly returns on the PS2 in his superb sequel.
Overall, Sly 2: Band of Thieves is one of the greatest PS2 games I've ever played.
The Good:
-Cool new characters
-You can play as Bentley and Murray
-More jobs, sneaking, and fun
-Excellent voice-acting
-Selling items to buy new moves for Sly, Bentley, and Murray on ThiefNet
-Contains a health bar and infinite lives unlike the first game
The Bad:
-Graphics make the game difficult for players to see anything
-You get knocked back when hit, which is even worse when you're climbing
It is really superb and fun to play because it has new cooler characters. You should get it if you have a PS2 or fat PS3. That's all I got to say. Good day!
