Highly Anticipated yet total disapointment. Original games like this are rare so it's very upsetting they failed us.
Reasons so obviously clear
1. All the characters are SUPER weak yet you still make me fight with them, is this game about avoiding the enemies or fighting them?
a) You can't run very far without running out of breath. JEEZ I can run farther than any of them can, even the old 70 year old Akira could run just as far as the young punks, what gives?
2. The enemies can snipe you perfect shot a mile away in the fog but my characters can't hit the broad side of a barn 2 feet in front of them.
3. Slooooowww attack, running around trying to kill this shibito brain is almost impossible because it won't stay still and my character can't hit an run at the same time.
4. Non playable characters ARE ALWAYS IN YOUR WAY. How many times have I tried to close a door or move and my "companion" is like a road block.
5. Losing ALL the second objectives you unlocked when you die but still make me start at the halfway point, Now I have to exit the game, reload at the beginning an try again, TEDIOUS. O, an one time I got stuck playing this level that I couldn't COMPLETE BECAUSE THE SECOND OBJECTIVES weren't finished for it. Therefore if I didn't have another save I would have to START ALL Effin!! over again. I've noticed a few games like this, Silent Hill, God of War, where if you save an you **** yourself by saving your game in a manner where you can't complete your journey for whatever reason, you now flushed 10-20 hours down the tube!!
6. ENEMIES WON'T STAY DEAD!!! granted that's part of the story but can you make them stay down for more than like 10 freaking seconds
7. Some missions are almost impossible to complete
8. The most annoying, PLAYING THE levels OVER AN OVER AN OVER AN OVER AN OVER
9. Key items & objectives are vague an almost impossible to find, locate, or complete.
10. Scary my ass, nice try thou. I was so pissed off an mad half the time I wasn't in the mood to be scared.
11. Story line is totally confusing an only starts to make sense when you complete the entire game but even then its an hour of reading an watching movies to grasp it. PS, nice stupid link system, ALL OVER THE PLACE!!
It was so bad I had to turn on the infinite health cheat code with Action Replay to make this game tolerable
