Siren is Japanese horror based and has creative influences from the original Silent Hill creators, so it will feel very much so as well as being quite different. This game can be quite difficult but with a little patience, this game is very fun and interesting. It has a beautifully creepy atmosphere, visuals and music with a story rich in the supernatural, paranormal and metaphysical, based on legends and myths of Japan. Players will be able to control about 10 different playable characters throughout the course of the game, all of which have the unique ability called sight jack, where the controllable character can see through the eyes of other allies or enemies to help complete objectives in missions. The story spans 3 days in which the playable characters paths intersect and they must escape the horror that's all around them. To progress through the game, certain missions must be unlocked by completing objectives in a certain previous mission. Each mission will consist of 2 ways to complete it, playing a mission for the first time will only allow the player to complete it one way but after completing the stage players will have to revisit it at a later time to complete it the second way to progress. After a certain number of missions have been completed, a stage select is unlocked, and players can press a button that lets them know what stage has an objective that must be completed to progress to the next one. If you like the original Silent Hill or Japanese horror or the supernatural, this game is a must.
