Great balance of strategy and tactics. Good combination of role playing and first person shooter genres. Sufficient strategy required to keep you thinking, with enough shooting and explosions to satisfy the shooter instinct. Does not suffer from the long learning curve required to pilot space craft in the typical first person space shooters.

Good story line with sufficient levels of AI intelligence to test players from beginner to expert level. The vast potential combination of maps, difficulty levels and factions provides for a new game experience every time it is played.

Game perspective perfect for both getting in close and seeing the big picture. Graphics are perfect, excellent overall quality without overly taxing system resources. Have been playing for months without a freeze up or noticeable hesitation.
