I've waited a long time (A REALLY LONG TIME) to play another actual Sim City game. This one was quite a bit disappointing. Did not like that on launch day, the game was unavailable for play for a really long time. I don't think I like the idea of pre-purchasing and downloading a game online anymore, that was a bit of a sour experience. Not that it would have done me any better to go and purchase a physical disc at the store, because you couldn't log on on day one and had a hard time doing so on day two. These things need to be ironed out before releasing the game. I also do not like the always on Digital Rights Management system that makes playing a hassle should my internet go down (which happens from time to time). A single player game should never require an always on internet connection, that was just a dumb idea. What happens should I want to play this game 5 years from now, and EA shuts the servers down? The old Sim City games, I can still play them any time I want. This one, if my net is down, or if EA servers run into an issue, or worst and they decide the servers are costing them money and shut them down, we're all out of luck with playing this one continuously.
