Great game. One that you played over and over again...

User Rating: 9.5 | Shadowrun GEN
It was always painful to me that a great game named Shadowrun came out for the Genesis, and a mediocre game named Shadowrun came out for the NES. I say painful, because since the vast majority of people had a Nintendo system, not a Sega system, they were all playing the mediocre game, not this amazing game.
This game was the first of what I would now call a Western RPG that I ever played. The world was open, though you might die if you didn't approach things in the correct order, it was nonetheless an open world framework. I loved the 'decking' (think hacking) aspects of the game. Magic. Cybernetics. Trolls in trench coats with shotguns. It lacked true love, and a Sicilian betting his life, but besides that this game has it all.
This game, and XCom: UFO Defense are the two games that I have been waiting, anxiously, to come out as a digital download...
