Awesome game, everything about it makes it worthwhile
The game is much better than the original, the games graphics are way better, awesome cut-scenes and voice actors, improved battle system, less dark more fun, better battle music!
Everyone knows the story, its about Yuri again going through more enemies to save the world while having a misteltoe curse on him, so he meets new awesome friend's and goes along.
The graphics are a way much improvement, the last game didnt have cut-scenes except for long reading and the camara way to far from the character's, this game is up close and personal. The FMV's are amazing as well.
The gameplay is really kewl. The battle system is basically the same except for now they move and you have 4 characters plus combo's.
The sound is awesome with the greatest battle music ever!!! MUCH BETTER THAN THE 1st! The voice actors are really good too.
1 thing I love the most is the game got less creppier, infact alot less creppier. Everything is different, instead you have a loving, livly rpg instead of a dull, boring, creepy rpg like Shadow Hearts 1. If you all remember the insanely creepy doll house sidequest in the original, trust me you wont mind this game's dollhouse at all! The place isnt that creepy.
Overall Shadow Hearts: Covenant is an isanely awesome game, its on par with Final Fantasy X. The game should definatly be reconized by true hardcore rpgamers.
