Best of its kind and then some... This is VERY harshly reviewed on gp by some one who didnt take the time to play it!
It first levels it looks very easy and dull, but the more you play the more you unlock things that change the game play to a whole new level, and every time u think u u locked everything new awesome features pop out... And i am not talking dull art work unlocks, and not new weapons and armor (tho there is plenty of those) but many things that actually change ur gameplay style (cant name them here as it would be a spoiler)
For those who say this is a button basher only game they really didnt play past the first levels
The story is very nice and ur choices affect what battles u go to and what allies and friends u make eventually changing the ending of the game.
I am surprised when they call this a button basher and yet street fighter isnt, each fighter here has soooo many combo it would blow ur mind and each is very different in fighting style with special finishers and special tricks up their sleeves that can change the battles outcome
Also the further up the levels u go the smarter the AI will become
There is so much stratgey it WILL keep you busy for hours on end :) i dont see this ever getting old as it combines strategy with skill and lots of very nice visuals.
The 3d is more that of a depth effect that works very well and you almost feel there, sometimes some attacks blow things out of the screen at you tho, and the many clips (that u can play back later in the gallery) are really well made in 3d both depth and poping out just right... I love the soundtrack and out of all the four games i picked up (street fighter, lego star wars, ghost recon, and samurai warriors)
It is without a doubt the best of them all, play past the first few stages and you will understand how much of a hidden gem this is :D
