I like only a few stealth based games of which I think the Tenchu series is perhaps the best... however Rise Of The Kasai, though not as groundbreaking as the previous tittle is close enough to the essential stealth action hack and slash game. It's hard enough to keep you playing for ages and the story telling bit is quite interesting- humorous and very gory at times...!
The long narratives are also quite interesting.
Now down to the important stuff.
The controls are a bit clumsy. Therefore the gameplay is horribly slow-ish. It wouldnt have hurt much if everything was a bit more fluid. Other than this one simple thing..., I'd say its a darn good game. However there is that one missing spark- that nameless quality. Its nowhere to be found in this game... U know... that stuff that makes legends.
